True life in NY right now. Spring is being such a tease!

My birthday was on Friday, but one of my favorite bosses was out of town. So, today she called me over to her office and gave me a present; a beautiful handmade card, the most delicious cupcake I’ve ever had (seriously), and a Starbucks gift card. It’s people like this who make life great.
So, this morning at the office I get the idea for a good April Fools Facebook status. Realistic, yet a bit outrageous. I quickly whip out my blackberry (the internet is faster than the iPhone) and type out my tricky status. Then I wait. And wait. And wait. Not a single person commented or “liked” my status. I finally logged into Facebook on my laptop and discovered that I set the status to “only me” so that I was the only one who could see it. Why is this even an option? I don’t know. But, now I have to wait an entire year to post this status again. That was my fail of the day.
